Seventeen-year-old Luca, is coming to terms with his Mum’s death and his sexuality. To find some room to breathe, before telling his father he’s gay, he happily accepts a psychological diagnosis that he knows to be wrong. However, his peace doesn’t last long. and through glimpses of what life as an out gay man could be, his heart insists he does the right thing, even if his mind is playing unhappy endings. Befriended by the local drag queen he is spurred on to find the confidence to confide in friends and family, then he discovers his dad has a secret of his own. While trying to keep the remnants of his family together, Luca must find the courage to be honest to himself, for a future he knows is out there.
